The Långasjönäs Holiday Village comprises a campsite, two chalet parks, holiday cottages and a beach. It is situated 10 kilometres north of Karlshamn in a nature reserve with a lake and many lovely walks and is a popular place both with tourists and locals.
 

The lake has several naturally sandy beaches and water that is clean and invigorating. If you stay on the campsite or in a chalet you are allowed to fish in Lake Långasjön without a permit. Or you can purchase a permit for game fishing in the nearby Kroksjö lakes. Dotted around the lake in the forest you’ll find barbecue sites. You can also hire rowing boats and canoes. There are several marked paths in the area for walking or jogging.

It’s not far to Nytorpet where you can take a sauna and then jump into the lake, something, which is appreciated by tourists and locals alike.

Nytorpet is also the starting point for marked paths varying in length from 1-8 kilometres.
 

Accommodation in the leisure area varies from a campsite and chalets to cottages with their own garden and some of them even with their own beach. The cottages and chalets can be booked through the Karlshamn Tourist Office. Pitches on the campsite can be booked through our site manager, at the Reception Centre in Långasjönäs.

 

How to get here
Take the E22 or road 29 to Karlshamn. From the E22 take the “Karlshamn C” turnoff. Follow signs to “Asarum” and then signs to “Långasjönäs”. From road 29 take turnoff to the left towards “Asarum” and then follow signs to “Långasjönäs”.

Shop/cafeteria
The Reception Centre houses a kiosk and a cafeteria (with TV). There is also a common room which can be used for conferences, meetings or parties. This room can be booked through the manager. Fresh rolls and Danish pastries can be purchased early in the morning. You can also purchase fishing permits at the Reception centre and hire rowing boats and canoes.

Activities available in the immediate vicinity:

• Fishing. Permits for the Kroksjö lakes cost 100 SEK per day
• Hire a rowing boat for 20 SEK an hour, 70 for half a day and 125 for a whole day
• Hire a canoe for 50 SEK an hour or 250 SEK for the whole day
• The area is full of walks and trails ranging from 1 – 8 kilometres
• Playground near the campsite
• Well-kept beach near the chalet parks

The campsite is situated beside a lake with free fishing if you are a paying guest.
The campsite has 90 pitches, 63 with electricity. There are also four chalets to rent.

Utilities building
Paying guests on the campsite and in the chalet parks have access to showers and a sauna in the utilities building. Separate showers for men and women. Baby care room which both mum and dad can use. For campers and those living in chalets without a kitchen there’s a kitchen and a dining area here. You’ll receive a key card when you check in which gives you access to the facilities. Hot water costs 1 SEK per minute. Laundry, please get the key at the reception.

Chalets on the campsite

Four simple chalets, each with 4 beds. These are situated 120 metres from a beach and jetty. The chalets have 2 bunk beds, electric heating and a small veranda with garden furniture. It’s 40 metres to the utilities building which houses a kitchen, sauna and toilets, 50 metres to the playground and 120 metres to a sandy beach.

Chalet and cottage rental

Karlshamn Tourist Office is responsible for the chalets and cottages for hire in Långasjönäs. Theese can be booked by calling 0454-812 13, fax 0454-812 25 or e-mail turistbyran@karlshamn.se. The tourist office is open Mon-Friday, 10.00-17.00 all the year round with longer opening hours during the summer (early June to mid August).

North and South Chalet Park

Description of chalets in North Chalet Park:
35 square metres in size comprising living room with two sofa beds and dining area. Alcove with two single beds. Kitchenette with table-top cooker, small fridge, running cold water. Electric kettle. WC with outside door. Patio with garden furniture and carport.

 

 

 

 

Description of chalets in the South Park:
35 sq metres in size comprising living room with two sofa beds and dining area. Alcove with two single beds. Kitchen with cooker, small fridge, running cold water. WC with outside door. Terrace under roof, garden furniture.

Common features for both areas:
Chalets contain household and kitchen utensils for six people. Electric heating. Don’t forget to bring sheets and towels! You may stay 5 persons in each cottage but there is only 4 beds. You can rent an extra bed for 100 SEK per week.

Utilities building:
Paying guests in the chalet parks have access to showers and a sauna in the utility building. Separate facilities for men and women. Baby care room which both mum and dad can use. You’ll receive a key card when you check in which gives you access to the facilities. Hot water costs 1 SEK per minute.

Key
A deposit of 500 SEK is payable when you collect the key at the campsite’s reception centre. The deposit will be returned after an inspection of the chalet before you check out.

Cleaning
You are expected to clean the chalet before leaving. There is a vacuum cleaner in the cottage. Or you can pay 500 SEK to have the chalet cleaned. This service must be ordered in advance at the Reception.

Arrival and departure
Access to the chalet from 15.00. You must leave by 12.00 on day of departure.
