Cottages – read this before you book!
Standard
A holiday house usually differs quite a bit from your own home. The furniture may be a mixture of old and modern. Plates, knives and forks don’t always match. Sometimes there are relatively few cupboards or other storage facilities. Bedrooms are usually small, sometimes without a door. Beds are sometimes of the more simple variety – if this is important for you, ask about the beds when you phone to make your reservation. Please note that a child is counted as one person when the number of beds is specified in the description if cribs or cots are not specifically mentioned. Water heaters sometimes have a limited capacity, so you may have to wait for your shower at busy times. Don’t forget to bring your own towels, bed-linen and supplies
Important
Extra facilities such as bikes and boats are not standard equipment, and we cannot therefore guarantee their standard or condition.
Pets
If you intend to bring your dog, cat or other pet, you must inform us when you book. Animals are not allowed in some of our properties. Our cottages are not protected against allergies. The symbol “pets not allowed” is no guarantee that the property has never previously housed any animals.
Cleaning
Cleaning is not included in the rental, so please ensure that you leave your cottage in a clean and tidy condition. If not, we will have the cleaning undertaken at your expense.
Rubbish
Blekinge has been operating rubbish sorting for some time. Please be careful about what you put in the bin – it is emptied once every two weeks, so you may have to leave some space for the next guest! The tourist office can tell you more about where to leave your recyclable waste.
Pests and other nuisances
In the summer you can sometimes encounter mice, mosquitoes, wasps, flies and other insects in and around the house. You may also find the occasional spider’s web, and there may be ants as well. The landlord cannot be held responsible for such occurrences. Should you notice any serious problems, please call the landlord immediately so that he can take prompt action. The landlord cannot be held responsible for nuisances off his land, for example road or building works.
